We all reach a time in our lives when we lose a loved one or a close friend, and that is when we begin our grief process. As it is said in 2 Corinthians 1:3, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort.” While none of us experience grief in the same way, most of us seek to find comfort, answers, and hope. We can find all of these things through the Word of God, the presence of the Holy Spirit, and by being among those who have shared this experience with us. Christ Church will offer an opportunity for such support by presenting “Grief Share”, a thirteen-week guided workshop facilitated by Christ Church volunteers. Our time together will begin on April 13th from 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm and will continue through July 6th. Each week, we will experience a teaching based on Scripture and true-life experiences presented in a video, followed by a time of discussion and sharing. The cost of the workbook will be $20, and scholarships are available. If you have previously attended this workshop, you may find it beneficial to attend again. If this is your first time seeking help, you may only need to attend a few sessions, and that is alright too.
