First Wednesday – February 2nd
One in seven children will lose a parent or sibling before they are 20. Camp Erin Tulsa is a free, overnight bereavement camp for youth. This weekend camp experience combines grief education and emotional support with fun, traditional camp activities. Campers are provided a safe environment to explore their grief, learn essential coping skills, and make friends with peers who are also grieving. The First Wednesday in February, Lucretia Pardiñas, Director of Programs for the Tristesse Grief Center will be speaking along with our own Richard Modenbach. As our mission portion, we are asking for donations of paint markers, scrapbooking paper, colored and printed duct tape, individual packages of tissue and hand sanitizer, or composition notebooks. Dinner will be provided at 5:30 pm for just $5. Join us February 2nd at 5:30 pm for First Wednesday – a meal, a mission, a message.

Many guests attend our services every week, either online or in person, and we are thrilled to welcome them! Some may have questions about our church, its beliefs, history, and membership, and we want to help! Our quarterly Discover CUMC event will be held on January 30 at 2:00pm. Contact the church office or Chris Maricle at email@example.com for more info.
